In our one-on-one sessions, we will focus on your specific needs and priorities for that session. You will have time to share your thoughts and experiences, and identify and process the emotions that come with them. I am here to provide you with validation and support throughout our session. We will work together to figure out what skills will be most helpful for you to navigate through whatever challenges you may be facing, making sure that you feel heard, seen, and understood.
60-min Group Sessions, $75 per session
During group therapy sessions, my priority is to create a safe and comfortable environment where every participant feels encouraged to share their experiences. Together, we will learn effective skills for managing eating disorder-related behaviors and triggers. We will also process our experiences and emotions, which will help us better understand ourselves and support one another in the process. This is a safe space where you can always come for support from people who understand what you are going through.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of therapy that focuses on helping individuals who have experienced trauma. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR allows you to process your traumatic experiences without having to talk about them in detail. EMDR sessions typically begin with an evaluation, assessment, and preparation process to ensure that you feel ready to start addressing your trauma. We will work together throughout the therapy to help you feel stable and supported as you process your past. EMDR can be an incredibly helpful tool in moving forward with the life you want.

“Outstanding. I am continuously impressed with the insights I am getting during my sessions. It's a perfect balance of being receptive to discussion and teaching me new coping skills, while also firmly pushing me to apply newly taught methods. Cannot recommend them enough.”
“I love working with Alexis! She is a great listener and good at validating me even when I struggle with validating myself. She also is good at helping me structure our sessions so I can stay on track (I’m good at avoiding talking about the real issue) but also good at knowing when to let me keep going down my train of thought. I like how she gives me practical things to work on until my next session. Overall I always look forward to my next session!”
“I feel like I’m making some real progress with some lifelong issues. I feel like Alexis is really helping me with some ugly stuff in my past.”
“Alexis Leeper is amazing- patient, kind, and talented."
“I have really enjoyed my sessions with Alexis. I was familiar with EMDR already but this is probably the most helpful thing I have ever done. I am even tapering off my anxiety medication. A big part of that was because of Alexis and the tools she has given me. She has walked me through everything. I am confident I will be back to my old self very soon. I have no night terrors or panic attacks anymore. I give her a lot of credit because she is so great. She has given me very clear goals during each session and focus for each week. She picked up on how I work, and I really feel like my treatment is customized for me.”
“I really like Alexis. She is knowledgeable and I trust the feedback she gives me. I didn't think the coping skills she gives would do anything, but I've started doing them and it's really starting to help!”
